Observed and clocked thoroughbreds working and exercising in the morning and wrote up any movements that would separate an individual from the herd.

Started working backside as a hotwalker for Trainer Steven Dimauro, then Reggie Cornell, John Veitch, 'Sonny' Hine, Jack Weipert, George Hartstone, Brian Mayberry. Finally,I worked the test barn one summer at Hollywood Park.
